We are proud to offer a dining program complete with signature brands and menu selections that include just about every item you can imagine. Stop by Café Panola, located inside the Charles C. Matthews Foundation Student Center for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Community meal plans are available through the Business Office. 

 

Normal Hours:

Monday - Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Monday - Sunday: 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Charlie's Bistro

Visit Charlie’s Bistro, located next to the Charles C. Matthews Foundation Student Center inside the Arthur Johnson Gymnasium. 

Whether you are looking for a healthy salad, handmade sandwich, or some quick energy, we are here to help. Frequent visitor favorites include the chicken pesto panini, vegetable quesadilla, or curly fries that rival the best in the business.

We proudly serve the Starbucks espresso and Frappuccino menu, featuring all seasonal specials. If coffee isn’t your style, we also have a great selection of refreshers and Coca-Cola products to help you get through your day.

Fitness Center

Fitness Center

Do you have a fitness goal you are looking to achieve? The fitness center, located inside the Charles C. Matthews Foundation Student Center, consists of a weight room, a yoga, aerobics, and Pilates room, along with a full-size gym that includes six basketball goals and two volleyball courts. The cardio area in the weight room includes four elliptical machines, four treadmills, five recumbent bikes, and an ab deck.

Weight lifting equipment, workout DVDs, basketballs, and volleyballs are also available for checkout at the front desk.

Community memberships are available through the Business Office.

MEMBERSHIP PRICING:

  • $40 for fall/spring semesters
  • $30 for summer semesters

 

Fitness Classes

Yoga

The Department of Workforce and Continuing Education hosts a variety of fitness classes on the Carthage, Center, and Marshall campuses. Classes include spin, yoga, boot camp, kickboxing, bungee aerobics, Drumfit, Zumba, and much more. New classes begin year-round, so you can find a class that fits your schedule.

Community members may register for these classes without applying for admission to Panola College.

M.P. Baker Library

M.P. Baker Library

The M.P. Baker Library is open to the public to use and houses individual pods and study rooms. Materials, excluding laptops and hot spots, may be checked out with a TexShare card.  

Also inside the Library is the Fay Allison Gallery, which hosts a number of free art exhibits throughout the year.

Summer Camps for Kids

Summer Camp

Each summer, the College offers an array of different camps for kids on campus. Scattered throughout the months of June and July, camps revolve around science, art, cooking, photography, yoga, drama, sports, and even safety. Your child is sure to find a camp that fits their interests.
