Workplace Literacy
Workforce literacy classes are offered through partnerships with local employers. Instruction is intended to focus on the specific employers' basic skill needs for their workforce. Current business partners include Republic Elite, Happy Nails & Spa, and Tyson in Carthage and Center. Laura Wood
Laura Wood is the director of Harrison-Marion County Operations and Marshall College Center, located in Marshall, Texas. The Marshall College Center, located inside Marshall Place, offers face-to-face courses, hybrid, virtual, continuing education, and grant classes. Classes are offered during the day, as well as during the evening, in order to accommodate students' schedules and lifestyles.
