Traditional Program
This program is taught over 24 months with summers off. A new group starts each fall and each spring. It is face to face, mainly weekdays. Clinicals are within a 70 mile radius of Carthage, Texas.
You will be required to be on campus and/or clinical 3-4 days per week.

LVN to RN Hybrid Transition
This program is taught over 12 months, starting each summer. It is offered in a flexible format with classes online and clinicals provided in the evenings and weekends within a 70 mile radius of Carthage, Texas.
You will be required to be on campus 1 day per week for simulation and lab, and 1-2 days per week for clinicals.

Promoting Excellence in Nursing
The mission of the Associate Degree Nursing program is to facilitate an educational environment to foster the development of caring, ethical, competent, novice professional nurses. As such, we contribute to the progression of the nursing profession.
The purpose of the Associate Degree Nursing Program at Panola College is to provide high quality education to individuals in the community seeking a career as a registered nurse and to promote the transition of the Licensed Vocational Nurse into the role of the professional nurse. The Associate Degree Nursing Program at Panola College meets the state education requirements to prepare students to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) for licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Texas. Panola College has not determined if the Associate Degree nursing program at Panola College meets the state education requirements in any other state or U.S. Territory. Contact the state regulatory agency for nursing in any other state for which this information is needed. The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) and the Louisiana Board of Nursing has resources that may be helpful.
