The Panola College Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit, tax-exempt foundation established to assist in the development of scholarships, endowments, and other resources for the improvement of Panola College.

The Foundation is led by a volunteer board of business and community leaders whose dedication to education fuels the College's initiatives. The Foundation is passionate in its support of Panola College and believes student success is an important part of that mission.

Our Mission

The Panola College Foundation was formed to support and promote the mission and vision of Panola College, to seek and obtain gifts for the advancement of Panola College, and to assist the students of Panola College by providing fellowships and scholarships. In addition, the Foundation also seeks to increase community awareness of the programs and accomplishments of the College and to promote excellence in education.

Our History

The Panola College Foundation, formerly known as, "The Panola Junior College Development Corporation," was chartered and incorporated in 1982 as a 501 (C) (3) nonprofit, tax-exempt foundation to assist in the development of scholarships, endowments, and other resources for the improvement of the College.

The original board members, Dr. V.M. Holland, Mr. Beverly Brown, Mrs. Phoebe Sue Perlman, Mr. Paul Carter, Mr. Robert Hull, Mr. O.A. Cassity, and Mr. "Doc" Buchanan, Jr. knew the benefits that forming such an organization would bring to the College. Today, the Foundation is led by a volunteer board of business and community leaders whose dedication to education supports and allows for the growth of College initiatives. Members of the board of directors share an inspired passion to support Panola College in achieving excellence which, in turn, benefits our community, students, and employers.
