The Wayne Kennedy Dennard Memorial Scholarship was established in memory of Wayne Kennedy Dennard by his mother, Mrs. Mary E. Dennard. Mr. Dennard was pursuing a doctorate degree in chemistry from UT Austin at the time of his death. The scholarship is awarded annually to a deserving sophomore student at Panola College.
