The Robert Sherman Endowed Scholarship was established by his wife, Mary Ella Sherman, and his brother, Haag Sherman, to honor Robert’s legacy and lifelong passions. Robert devoted his career to the oil and gas industry, business, and the practice of law – fields that reflected his deep curiosity and commitment to excellence. The scholarship will support Panola College students pursuing studies in the energy program or business, with a special emphasis on pre-law, ensuring that future generations can carry forward Robert’s dedication to these disciplines.
