The Lillie Antee Hayes Memorial Scholarship was established in 1993 in memory of Mrs. Hayes by her daughter and son-in-law, Billie Jean and John W. Burton. This is the third scholarship endowed at Panola College by the Burtons. The scholarship is awarded annually to a deserving student planning to attend Panola College.
