Panola College and FleetForce Truck Driver Training Partner to expand CDL training access in East Texas
Today, FleetForce Truck Driver Training, the nation’s fastest-growing Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) training provider, announced a new partnership with Panola College to recruit and train aspiring commercial truck drivers through a newly established CDL training center. Effective immediately, the partnership will offer CDL training programs on Panola College’s campus, including testing and on-site training.
“Panola College is extremely excited about our partnership with FleetForce,” said Whitney McBee, Director of Workforce and Continuing Education at Panola College. “Together, we are expanding opportunities for individuals in our community to build rewarding careers through elite CDL training – equipping students with the skills needed to enter a high-demand industry and strengthen our regional workforce. We believe FleetForce’s mission aligns closely with the values of Panola College, as both organizations are dedicated to engaging students, fostering success, and maintaining a strong commitment to excellence.”
FleetForce’s training programs are designed to teach all the mandatory skills aspiring drivers need to obtain their Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). It offers training opportunities for Class A, B, and C licenses. FleetForce’s partnership with Panola College is its first location in the Texas market and comes as the U.S. continues to face truck driver shortages, with reports indicating nearly 80,000 positions remained unfilled last summer. FleetForce is already the largest CDL training provider in the state of Florida.
“The demand for skilled drivers continues to grow, and with competitive wages, it’s an incredible opportunity for East Texans eager to work,” said Tra Williams, president of FleetForce Truck Driver Training. “Our partnership with Panola College provides a clear pathway for those pursuing CDL jobs and for employers in search of truck drivers. It’s a win-win for the community.”
In addition to competitive salaries, FleetForce graduates typically receive healthcare and retirement benefits, paid vacation, and additional perks. Most FleetForce graduates have advanced their careers within the trucking industry, with many becoming owner-operators earning six-figure salaries. In addition to Panola College, FleetForce currently partners with eleven other colleges and municipalities across the country and plans to expand into six new markets soon.
