What time does the library open?

The library opens Monday-Friday at 7:30 a.m.

What time does the library close?

The library closes at 5:00 p.m. on Mondays and Tuesdays, 7:00 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and 12:30 p.m. on Fridays.

Is the library open on weekends?

The library is not currently open on the weekends.

How do I login to the databases?

How do I get a HOOPLA account?

How do I get a laptop?

Laptops are available on a first come first serve basis to students enrolled in the current semester. Email library@panola.edu or stop by to see if there is one available.

Where can I print?

Printers are located on each Panola campus. There are 2 on the main campus. One is on the first floor of the library next to the art gallery and the other is in the Dr. Gregory S. Powell Science Center building.

Does it cost to print?

Yes, you must purchase a print card from the business office. A print card is $30 and covers 250 pages worth of printing.

Where can I scan something?

A scanner is available on the second-floor of the library in the computer area.

Where can I fax something?

Faxing is available at the College Store in the Charles C. Matthews Student Services Building.

How do I get a library card?

Your student ID is your library card. 

Are there textbooks in the library?

The only textbooks in the library are those that instructors have placed on reserve. Email library@panola.edu to ask about which ones.
