Part-time/Adjunct Faculty Pool

As an institution dedicated to providing high-quality, convenient educational services, Panola College often utilizes part-time/adjunct faculty during both the day and evening hours. In an effort to maintain a pool of qualified candidates of potential adjunct faculty, Panola College welcomes interested individuals to make applications at any time by submitting a Panola College application, a current resume, and unofficial copies of college transcripts to the Office of Human Resources. Official transcripts will be required upon approval of hire. Applicants should specify whether they are available for day and/or evening appointments.

Panola College currently utilizes part-time/adjunct faculty members in three areas: university transfer, developmental, education, and technical courses. Minimum requirements, as well as specific teaching areas for each, are listed below.

University Transfer Courses

Minimum Requirements

A master's degree plus 18 graduate hours in the teaching field from a regionally accredited institution of higher education. Previous teaching experience preferred.

Developmental Courses

Minimum Requirements

A bachelor's degree in the teaching field from a regionally accredited institution of higher education and some course work related to developmental studies. Previous teaching experience preferred.

Occupational/Technical Courses

Minimum Requirements

Must hold the highest level of education granted through the particular program (e.g., certificate or associate's degree) from a regionally accredited institution of higher education and have at least 5 years of experience in the field. Previous teaching experience preferred.

Minimum Requirements
