Panola College music faculty to present April recitals

Panola College music faculty will host two special performances this April, featuring James Bogs on trumpet, Dwaine Hubbard on trombone, and Lydia Lim on piano.

The first recital will take place on April 16 at 6 p.m. in the Murphy Payne Room on the Panola College campus. The program will include works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven, and Frédéric Chopin, offering audiences a rich variety of styles spanning multiple musical eras.

The faculty has also been invited to perform as part of the Bach’s Lunch Concert Series presented by the Longview Symphony Orchestra. This performance will be held on April 24 at 12 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Longview.

Both performances are free and open to the public. Community members are encouraged to attend and experience an engaging program highlighting the artistry and collaboration of Panola College faculty.
