The Panola College concert and jazz bands will present “Christmas at Noon” on Nov. 30 from noon to 1 p.m. The hour-long musical performance will take place in the newly-renovated outdoor event area, located on the quad between the M.P Baker Library and the Martha Miller Administration Building on the Panola College campus.

“We are very excited to put on a Christmas-themed outdoor concert for everyone in the community to enjoy,” said Dwaine Hubbard, the director of bands at Panola College. “The bands will be performing songs that many might recognize or even be able to sing along to. We hope that the community will come out and enjoy this concert with us.”

The bands will perform several classic Christmas songs, including “Carol of the Bells,” “White Christmas,” “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch,” “I’ll be Home for Christmas,” and “A Holiday Sing-Along.” The event will also feature the brass and woodwind ensembles, which will each perform two songs.

Admission to the event is free and the public is invited to attend. Guests are encouraged to bring folding chairs or blankets to sit on. Hot chocolate and cookies will be available free of charge. Charlie’s Bistro, which is located next to the Arthur Johnson Gymnasium, will also be open and selling Starbucks drinks from its holiday menu.
