Basic Interview and Interrogation

**Officers attending the training may be eligible for TCLEOSE training credit.

In this course students will learn:
-the verbal communication process
-the interview process of a witness
-questioning techniques
-cognitive interview techniques
-developing listening skills
-preparing for an interview
-recognizing deception

This course is designed for Law Enforcement officials and consists of both lecture and practical exercises.

Basic Armed Robbery Investigation

This course is designed for Law Enforcement personnel.

Students will learn:
-First responders to an armed robbery
-Crime Scene:
     a. maintaining crime scene integrity
     b. properly working a crime scene
-Interviewing and handling witnesses
-Interviewing and handling suspects
-Planning an operational order
     a. logistical planning
     b. manpower issues
     c. drafting/planning
     d. budgeting
