Panola College's Summer Enrichment Program for Kids completing grades K-5th (Children who completed Kindergarten in May 2008 are eligible to participate) Kid’s College 2008 is a summer enrichment program for students who will be completing Kindergarten through fifth grade this spring. We are pleased to once again offer the popular kids college to the children of Panola County and surrounding areas. This week long summer enrichment program will allow students to have an exciting learning experiences in roping, art, crafts, sports, cooking and much more! The curriculum has been developed to offer courses for introduction and enhancement rather than for in-depth study. The all day format is designed to accommodate the needs of working parents. With student and parent support and cooperation, our kids college staff is looking forward to a fun and enriching time. |

Drop Off/Pick Up Please bring your kids each day to the gym at Panola College between 7:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. Our staff will escort them to their registered class. Participants must be picked up at the gym between 4:40-5:00 p.m. The safety and well being of your children is of great concern during Kid’s College and we appreciate your cooperation. Schedules and Nametags Schedules will be mailed by June 9th, 2008. Attendees will be given name tags when they arrive. The name tag will include a list of the student’s classes and location. Students will be given name tags each day. No schedule changes will be made after May 30th, 2008. Attendance Students are expected to attend each class for which they are enrolled. They are to be in those classes except during breaks. Parents should notify us in advance if a child will be absent. Class rolls will be taken daily, and parents will be contacted if there is an unaccounted absence. Clothing Students should dress in casual play clothes, with care given to appropriate clothing for special classes. (i. e. tennis shoes for sports, washables for art, etc.). Snacks Students will be given organized “group” refreshment breaks between the 5th and 6th class session. Please make Kids College Staff Aware of any known food allergies. Classroom Locations Classroom activities will be held at the Panola College– Main campus.
