PANOLA COLLEGE HOMECOMING 2006
It was cold this year!
Alumni and friends of Panola College attended Homecoming events on February 18. Activities began at 12:30 p.m. with lunch, followed by a brief alumni meeting in the Magnolia Room. At 2:00 p.m., the 2005 Region XIV Conference Championship Fillies Basketball Team hosted the Lady Bucs from Blinn College in the Arthur Johnson Gym. At the conclusion of the game, the Homecoming King and Queen Coronation was presented, followed by more basketball action at 4:00 p.m. when the Ponies took on long time rival, the Blinn College Buccaneers.
The Pony's baseball game with the Crowder College Roughriders was cancelled due inclement weather. However rain and wind chill could not keep the Panola College Theatre Department from performing, Corfu by Night. The performance began at 7:30 p.m. in the Q. M. Martin Auditorium and was followed by a small reception with the cast and playwright.
