Panola College Receives Safety Award

CAS-Claims Administrative Services, Inc. is pleased to announce that Panola College in Carthage, Texas has been awarded a Billy Hibbs Safety Award and an Annie Ozella Jones Memorial Scholarship.

The prestigious Billy Hibbs Safety Award was named in honor of the founder of CAS-Claims Administrative Services, Inc. It was Hibb’s dream to help schools and reward those who reach the highest levels of safety.

CAS also presented Panola College with an Annie Ozella Jones Memorial Scholarship for the institution’s dedication to safety. The selection is based on safety performance and participation in the Texas Public Junior and Community College Employee Benefits Consortium worker’s compensation program. Panola College set the example for all Texas junior and community colleges in providing a safe work environment for all the college’s employees. The safe work environment allows for fewer on the job employee injuries, thus protecting its greatest asset, it employees. The scholarship in the amount of $500 is to be awarded to a student of the college’s choice.
