Panola College to hold Reception to Recruit Adjunct Faculty

            Panola College will be holding a reception for individuals who wish to be considered for positions as adjunct instructors for the Carthage, Marshall or Center locations, for both credit and non-credit courses.  The reception will be held  from 5:30 - 7 p.m., Tuesday, May 3, in the Ballroom  of Panola College-Carthage.  Individuals attending should meet the minimum qualifications for instructors in their subject areas and should bring appropriate credentials to the reception in order to be placed on an active applicant list.

APPLIED STUDIES AND TRAINING

In addition to an associate's degree in the subject area and three years recent work experience in the field, the appropriate licensure is required for

·        Air Conditioning and Refrigeration

·        Associate Degree Nursing *

·        Building Trades & Construction Sciences

·        Cosmetology program

·        Computer Information Systems

·        Emergency Medical Service Professions

·        Graphic Arts/Photography

·        Hydraulics

·        Medical Office Management/Health Information

·        Office Technology

·        Surveying and Mapping Technology 

·        Welding Technology

*(MSN or other master’s degree with 6 graduate hours in nursing required)

A master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in the subject is required for:
