Carthage Music Club Presents Jim Faucett 

On March 29, at noon, Panola College piano instructor, Jim Faucett, will perform in the Panola College Q.M. Martin Auditorium. An accomplished pianist, Mr. Faucett will be performing pieces made famous by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Robert Schumann and Frederic Chopin.   

Mr. Faucett was born in New York, but moved to Neches, Texas, as an infant. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Stephen F. Austin University and is certified in piano pedagogy. Mr. Faucett joined Panola College in the fall of 2003 as an adjunct piano instructor. He also teaches piano for SFA’s music prep division. Mr. Faucett has presented concerts in Palestine, Neches and Tyler and performed in Marshall at East Texas Baptist University, Stephen F. Austin University, and at Panola College.   

The Carthage Music Club will be sponsoring Faucett’s performance. There will be no admission charge to the public, however donations will be accepted. The Carthage Music Club is an affiliate of the National Federation of Music Clubs and the Texas Federation of Music Clubs. Community sponsors of this event help support the Carthage Music Club Scholarship for music study.
