PANOLA COLLEGE TO HOST HEALTH FAIR 

On April 7, the Panola College Associate Degree Nursing program will host its annual Health Fair from 7:30 a.m. to noon in the Arthur Johnson Gymnasium. 

ADN students will be checking visitor’s blood pressure, weight, and glucose free of charge. Numerous vendors from around the area will also be in attendance, providing information about numerous medical topics. 

Vendors tentatively scheduled to be in attendance include: Advocare, Stewart Regional Registry for Marrow Donors, East Texas Medical Center-cholesterol checks, Ruth’s Health Foods, Texas Department of Health, Panola Care and Rehabilitation, Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital, Massage Therapist-Melissa Ogden, Texas Home Health, Hill Chiropractic Care, A&M Healthcare, At Home Healthcare, Natural Choice, Hospice of East Texas, Genicare, Longview Wellness Center, Panola Nursing Students, and Lincare. 

Representatives from the ETMC will be drawing blood 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. The blood will be analyzed and screened for indicators of heart disease, cancer, etc. There will be a nominal fee charged for each blood test.
