COLLEGE PRODUCTION OF "DARK OF THE MOON
RECEIVES SUPERIOR RATING
Panola College's production of "Dark of
the Moon" directed by Liz Hedges received a superior rating at the Texas
Community College Speech and Theatre Association's play festival held this past week at
Lamar University in Beaumont. Additionally, the Greg Schneider Award, the
association's highest award for technical theatre, was presented to Panola College
students William Weeks, Alisha Jones, and Jarrod Kendall for set design for
"Dark of the Moon".
Panola College received more tech awards from the
directors than any college at the festival.

The judges for the festival were Dr. Greg Schwab
from Sul Ross University and Dr. Bill Gelber from Texas Tech University. Panola received the highest number of tech awards
given by the judges.
