TYSON SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDED

Five Panola College students received scholarships from the Tyson Foundation for the 2003-04 school year. Tommy Young, Director of Financial Aid said, “Each scholarship is valued at approximately $800 and will be applied toward the cost of tuition, fees and books.” 

This year’s scholarship recipients are: Mary Wallace – Sacul, TX; Benay Brannon – Carthage, TX; Tina Jones – Center, TX; Kristi Stringer – Joaquin, TX; Denise Morales – Tenaha, TX. 

“Tyson Foods is a good corporate neighbor and we are grateful for their continuing support of our students,” said Young.
