New Orleans Jazz Festival Trip! 

Learn and travel with Professors Mike McGowan & Mike Beasley to the 2004 New Orleans Jazz Festival. The trip is part of the College’s Humanities 1302 course and can be taken for college credit or for personal enrichment. The course will serve as an introduction to the multi-cultural aspects of American society, as exemplified in the culture of Louisiana. Students will be exposed to the musical, literary, artistic and political diversity that is endemic to the Cajun and Creole societies.  Faculty, staff, students and members of the public are welcome to join us on April 22 –25 for this exciting event! 

Trip includes:

v    3 nights at the Hampton Inn downtown New Orleans

v    2 days entrance to the Jazz Festival

v    Ride on a Mississippi Paddle Steamer

v   Beignets and latte at Café Du Monde
