The
Panola College Office of Workforce and Continuing Education Department is pleased to
announce several new and informative non-credit courses to be offered at the Panola
College Carthage campus.
Microsoft Excel 2002—This course introduces spreadsheet applications as it presents terminology, computer operations, editing functions, formatting, and special text options. Martin Martinez is instructing this 18-hour class on Tuesday and Thursday evenings 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. April 29 - May 15. Tuition is $72.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)— Designed for skill development for professional personnel practicing in critical care units, emergency departments, and paramedic ambulances, this course establishes a system of protocols for management of the patient experiencing cardiac difficulties. The 16-hour certification course is on Friday and Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. May 2 - 3. Tuition is $150.
ACLS
Re-certification—The 8-hour
re-certification course is on Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. May 2. Tuition is $75.
Basic Dog Obedience—Bring your dog to class and teach him/her to heel on leash, sit, down, stay, and come when called. Your dog will learn all these commands the fun and easy way. Joy Parker is instructing this 6-hour class on Monday and Wednesday evenings 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. May 5 - May 21. Tuition is $30.
