EAGLES TO PERFORM AT PANOLA COLLEGE

 

Tatum High School’s Lil’ Lady Eagles and the Eaglettes will be performing at Panola College on February 11 in the Arthur Johnson Gym. The Lil’ Lady Eagles will be featured during the Fillies game, which begins at 6:00 p.m. and the Eaglettes will perform during the Ponies game that is scheduled for 8:00 p.m.  

The Tatum Lil’ Lady Eagles show team specializing in unique basketball handling talents and athletic abilities will be providing halftime entertainment during the Fillies Basketball Game. The team is led by Angie Hartt of Tatum and members include: Reagan Smith, Shakari Johnson, Bailey Parks, Adrianna Gonzales, Taylor Beall, Tamara Clark, Hailey Maxwell, Lacy Liles, Skye Duncan, Kelsey Gonzales, Allison Kirkland, Haley Hartt, Dominique Finley, Courtnie Henry and Allissa Dawson.  

The Eaglettes drill team will be performing during halftime of the Ponies game. This award winning team received three Sweepstakes awards in 1999 at the Kilgore competition, the Dr. Irving Driebrodt award for the highest-scoring routine in the military category; Best Overall Precision; Best Overall Choreography; Best Overall Presentation; and the Gussie Nell Davis Award of Excellence. Twice in the past three years, the Eaglettes have been named Best in Class for small school category, and have received the Curtain Call Academic Champions Award for having the highest cumulative grade point average of any team at competition.  

Line officers are junior Sheena Martin and senior Jennifer Wagar. Social officer is senior Patricia Aguilar. Line members are seniors Cindy Armstrong and LeKeishua Arthur; sophomores Jennifer Barrett, Jennifer Bradford, Amber Byers, Schvanna Creer, and Brittaney Medders; and freshmen Angel Gonzalez, Toni Pena, Patricia Seidl and Penny Wagar. Karen McGowan is serving in her eighth year as drill team director.
