PANOLA COLLEGE IS DOING A GREAT JOB PREPARING STUDENTS!

Recently, Southwest Texas State University confirmed what many East Texans already know…Panola College is doing a great job preparing students to be successful.  Dr. Supple (SWT President) provided the following information about the successes of Panola College students compared to all 2-year college transfer students who transferred to SWT in the fall of 2000: 

Panola College students took an average of 18 semester hours and earned an average GPA of 2.91 compared to all 2-year college transfer students who took an average of 19 semester hours and earned an average GPA of 2.50. Panola College students in the School of Business Administration earned an average GPA of 2.88 compared to all 2-year college transfers in the School of Business Administration who earned an average GPA of 2.41. Panola College students in the School of Fine Arts/Communication earned an average GPA of 3.00 compared to all 2-year college transfers in the School of Fine Arts/Communication who earned an average GPA of 2.64.
