PONIES FACE CHALLENGING SEASON

In only his second year at the helm of the Panola College Ponies, Scott Monarch will not only face the demanding challenge of the Region XIV Athletic Conference, but also the fourth toughest preseason schedule in the nation. The ponies will meet nine teams who were ranked or received votes in the NJCAA's preseason coaches' poll. "In order to be competitive in a conference like ours you need to play a demanding preseason schedule that will get you ready for the tough games which we will play in our conference," said Monarch. The Panola College ponies are only behind Gulf Coast Community College, Moberly Area, Northeastern Oklahoma A&M, and Three Rivers for the toughest schedule in the nation. The ponies will open its conference play November 20th when they will host the Lee College Rebels at Arthur Johnson Gymnasium.
