Khakie Jo Holland finished in the top five in Mt. Pleasant.

The Panola College rodeo team competed in Mt. Pleasant at the North East Texas Community College NIRA rodeo this past weekend.

Cody Coleman placed 4th in the steer wrestling, Jacob Marcell placed 4th in the bull riding and Austin Walock placed 7th in the bull riding. Khakie Jo Holland placed 5th in the goat tying. The men's and women's team both improved tremendously from the first rodeo in Uvalde. All other team members performed well in their respective events.

Coach Dameon White says, "I was very proud of the men and women from the Panola rodeo team, they are really improving." The Panola College rodeo team members will compete in Lake Charles, Louisiana at the McNeese State University NIRA rodeo October 28th-29th.
