The Uvalde event was sponsored by the Southern Region of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA). Sixteen teams from colleges and universities in the region competed, earning points in each event. Jacob Marcell placed third in Bull Riding, earning Panola 107.0 points. Austin Walock tied for fourth place in Bull Riding, gaining 78.5 points. Panola's total points of 185.50 ranked them in fifth place.
