Blinn defeated the Ponies 83-72 Saturday, Jan. 22. Point guard Charlton Jones led Panola's scoring attack with 14 points and six assists. Kenny Edwards scored 13 for the Ponies. The loss came after two consecutive Region XIV Conference wins for the Ponies. The team travels to Lufkin to play Angelina College at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
