Enlarge Boatner sinks 2 for the Ponies In an exciting game Wednesday night, the Ponies broke away from Bossier Parish in double overtime for a 105-91 win. Panola came on strong in the second overtime scoring seven points quickly, securing a 96-89 lead over Bossier. The Ponies went on to score 16 points against Bossier Parish for the win. High scorers for Panola were Gibson Chigbu with 18 points and 13 rebounds, Raschard Boatner with 18 points, five rebounds, five assists, and three steals. Gary Cox had 14 points, five rebounds, and two blocks and Thomas Orr knocked in 11 points. Panola was down by 15 points in the first half of the game, but quickly caught up by the half. Panola looked to win with a nine point lead but Bossier answered back tying the game up 75-75 mainly due to Bossier's one-man-army Christian Larry who had 27 points, 11 rebounds, and six blocks. The Ponies will be meet TJC in Tyler at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
