Blinn College defeated the Panola Fillies 70-63 Saturday.

Playing in the A.J. Johnson Gym at Panola College, the Fillies pulled to within one point as the first half came to a close, but the Lady Buccaneers held them off to keep the lead and the win.

Raven Alexander had 14 points while Shary Reed scored 12. Candace Virgadamo and Kelsey Bardsley added nine points each and Talisa Boyd scored eight.

The Fillies travel to Angelina College in Lufkin for a 5:30 p.m. game on Wednesday, Jan. 26.
