The Fillies suffered a big loss to Trinity Valley on Pink Zone night.

Wednesday was Pink Zone night at Panola. The Fillies wore pink jerseys that were auctioned off at the end of the game to raise funds for breast cancer research. The Lady Cardinals took a dominating lead in the first half of play against the Fillies Wednesday night. Panola struggled to reduce the lead in the second half but the Lady Cardinals pulled away for an 88-66 win.

Gloria Brown, a Trinity Valley forward, was a force to be reckoned with. She put 32 points up on the board as well as securing 14 rebounds and seven steals. Panola's leading scorers were Kelsey Bardsley with 13 points; Ariel Billington and Tatsiana Zhurauliova both had 11 points. Raven Alexander and Jacquelyn Hearne had eight points each while Larysa Latyshava grabbed 10 rebounds for Panola.
