Kilgore took a commanding lead against the Fillies and never slowed down.

Region XIV's second best team hosted the Fillies on Saturday, Feb. 6, and played like the second best team in the conference.  Opening the game on a 10-0 run, the Rangerettes never trailed.   The Fillies fought back in the first half cutting into the 10-point deficit several times, trailing by only 4 points at one time.  Kilgore would finish the first half the way they started it though and they pushed the lead to 14 at the break, 41-27.

They would put the game away in the second half behind hot shooting and strong play on the glass.  The Fillies lost their starting point guard, Candace Virgadamo, to an ankle injury midway through the second half, to add to the difficult afternoon.
