One of the many likings of King Tut

Students visited the King Tut exhibit in Houston recently.

Ann Boland, art instructor, accompanied 54 Panola College students on a field trip to the Houston Museum of Fine Arts to see the King Tut exhibit on November 10th, 2011. Adjunct faculty members Jack and Sandy Bartlett were also on the trip. The students' favorite exhibits included King Tut's bed, which was very short and in great condition, the canopic jars that held the internal organs of the dead, and the golden sandals of the child king. Boland said,  "It was amazing to see artifacts that have lasted over 3,000 years."
