Panola College will host a reception for student artists and photographers at 3 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 16 in the foyer of the M.P. Baker Library. The reception is scheduled to recognize students whose works are on display in the M.P. Baker Library. The student exhibit is on display in the Fay Cassity Allison Gallery from Monday, Nov. 7 through Friday, Nov. 18. Each semester, art and photography students display their best works in the end-of-semester exhibit. Ann Boland, art instructor, said 24 of her students are displaying drawings or ceramics. They include Amberlie Adkins, Tristin Andrews, Jason Barnett, Robert Brown, Jennifer Cools, Kaylee Fleming, Kaylin Fodge, Emily Lozano, Heather Harrison, Haley Rymel, Kelly Snelgrove and Josue Torres. Others include Amanda Ayres, Erica Ballard, Jennifer Barnett, Tanner Beattie, Andrea Bridges, Ruth Davidson, Ann Etheridge, Tyler Higgins, Ciera McIlwain, Jayson Wright and Mary Kay Davis. Teresa Beasley, communication and photography instructor, said 25 students have photographs in the exhibit. They include Bethani Goodman, Lav KC, Haley Patterson, Ryan Valentine, Jayson Wright, Crystal Beattie, Savannah Brown, Sarah Durham, Katie Essery, Jennifer Fincher, Karent Jinks Fuller, Lauren Hagler, Ashlyn Johnson, Miranda Manasco, Sarah Martin, Jesse May, Anna Mae McCreery, Jerediah Peterson, Jessica Renfro, Dalton Ridgeway, Keather Riley, Rebekah Santana, Arisona Shrestha, Jessica Soto, Christian Cauthen and Kevin Waiyaki. “We have talented students at Panola College and we invite the public to visit the Gallery to enjoy these artistic works,” Beasley said.
