Enlarge Nov. 11, last day to withdrawal! Friday, Nov. 11 is the last day to officially withdraw. Are you struggling in a class? Scared you're not going to pass? Friday, Nov. 11 is the last day to withdraw from classes with a "W'. Remember that the campus closes at 12:30 p.m. on Fridays. If you decide to drop a class, stop by the Student Success Center and pick up a drop slip. You'll have to meet with an Academic Advisor to make sure you're eligible to drop. If you are, you'll have to meet with your teacher, then again with the advisors. If you're on scholarship or a grant, you'll also need to go by the financial aid office and check to make sure the drop won't negatively affect your scholarship or grant. It will not be possible to withdraw from a class after Friday without affecting your grade. You will not be able to get a withdrawal slip from the Student Success Center after Friday. You will have to take the grade from the class you are trying to drop. So if you think you should withdraw, contact your teacher, and see if there is anything you can do to bring up the grade. If not, get by the Student Success Center before noon on Friday, Nov. 11. |
