Enlarge Margaret Thompson's new book is entitled A free lunchbox lecture will be held in the M.P. Baker library on Monday, Oct. 31, featuring author Margaret Thompson. Thompson will discuss her life and her new book, "When Sisters Talk Girltalk." Thompson is a graduate of Carthage High School and attended Panola College. She is currently a Problem Resolution Specialist for J.P. Morgan Chase Bank of Houston. She writes inspirational Christian essays and is involved in church ministries at Family Worship Center in Stafford, Texas. In her corporate career, she was named " Employee of the Month" at Bank One and was selected as Chase Bank's "Best of the Best." The public is invited to the event, which will include a book sale and signing. The M.P. Baker Library will provide a free light lunch to attendees. |
