 Enlarge Join the anime club. Interested in anime? The Anime Club will meet at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 31, in the Panola Room of the Student Center building. Anime, or Japanese animation, is an artform that has gained worldwide popularity. Another area of interest to the Anime Club is manga, a Japanese comic book style, according to Jennifer Langford, club president. The club will hold regular meetings throughout the semester to explore anime, Japanese culture and music.
