Jackson to Perform at Music Club Fundraiser

The Carthage Federated Music Club will present Keron Jackson in concert on Tuesday, November 8, 2005, at 7:00 p.m. at St John’s Episcopal Church. Keron, a former Panola College student and popular entertainer in the Carthage area, is currently a student at Baylor University in Waco. While attending Panola College, he played the role of Jim in the Broadway musical, ”Big River,” was a soloist in the community Christmas production of “The Messiah,” and sang several one person concerts. He was a member of the Panola College Chorale and was a Panola Piper.
Keron’s accompanist for the November 8th concert will be Zachery Ridgeway, also a Baylor University student and a native of Bulgaria.
The Carthage Music Club is a member of the National Federation of Music Clubs and the Texas Federation of Music Clubs. The public is invited to attend. Though no admission will be charged, donations will be accepted to help support the Carthage Music Club Scholarship for music study.
