BIOLOGY TO BE OFFERED

AT PANOLA COLLEGE-CENTER, TEXAS

 

Panola College-Center will be expanding its course offerings to include biology lecture and laboratory classes beginning this summer and fall semester.  Students will have the opportunity to enroll in and complete credits that can be used toward their general science core.  All students must complete up to 8-credits of science toward a degree at a university. 

 

During the Summer I session (May 31-June 29) students have the opportunity of enrolling in BIOL 2306 – Environmental Biology.  Classes meet Monday through Thursday from 9:00-11:20 a.m., and the BIOL 2106 Environmental Biology Laboratory meets Monday through Wednesday from 12:00-3:30 p.m.  This course will count as 4-credit hours and will transfer as a general core class for all majors.  Enrollment begins April 27th.

 

For the Fall Semester (August 22-December 15) Panola College-Center will be offering students the opportunity to enroll in BIOL 2401 Anatomy and Physiology I. The class will meet on Monday and Wednesday nights from 5:35-6:50 p.m. and Laboratory on Wednesday night from 7:00-9:45 p.m.  This course is required for all nursing students.  Enrollment begins April 27th.
