Institutional research is a broad category of work done at schools, colleges and universities to inform campus decision-making and planning in areas such as admissions, financial aid, curriculum, enrollment management, staffing, student life, finance, facilities, athletics, and alumni relations.

Mission of the Panola College Office of Institutional Research

  • To aid Panola College in accomplishing its mission of providing excellence in education by supporting institutional planning and decision making
  • To work in conjunction with the Department of Institutional Effectiveness towards the continuous improvement of Panola College
  • To aid Panola College in satisfying accrediting requirements for SACS and other accrediting agencies
  • To comply with state and federal reporting mandates
