Industrial Technology Certificate Programs
The Industrial Technology Program is designed to prepare
students for a career in troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining
equipment in an industrial environment. Students successfully
completing the program would obtain a strong background in
welding, hydraulics, refrigeration, and related subjects.
The program will include laboratory training using state-of-the-art
instruments, materials, and techniques employed in the industry;
appropriate safety training; problem-solving skills, including
statistical analysis of data; effective teamwork; effective
oral and written communication skills.
The program complies with the objectives and curriculum developed
by the local Industrial Technology Advisory Committee. Student
must provide personal equipment and suitable work clothing.
The certificate programs require the Work Keys assessment
test.
