The next offering of the Distance Learning Training Certification Program at Panola College will take place May 17-28, 2004. See schedule here.

A person may enroll for all or a portion of the training.  For questions about training or group rates, contact Ann Morris 903-693-2014.

• The first week focuses on Instructional Television techniques, converting materials, interactive strategies, copyright, PowerPoint and ITV presentation skills.
• The second week focuses on using WebCT with sessions on Intro to HTML and FrontPage, streaming audio and video, and many other online course issues.
• A manual will be provided to each participant.
• At the end of each week's training, each participant will make a brief presentation demonstrating competency of skills learned.
• Each participant will receive a certificate noting completion of training and competency.

The training program is two weeks long involving lecture with plenty of hands-on instruction and practice time. Computer and ITV labs will be open by 7:30 a.m. each morning and training sessions are usually held from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day. Computer labs will be open for use in the early evenings.
