Panola College's vocational
nursing curriculum emphasizes practical nursing skills, exciting
classroom lectures, nursing skills training, and clinical
experience in hospitals and nursing homes.
The program is approved by the Texas
Board of Nurse Examiners. Upon successful completion of
the program, the student may take the National
Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-PN). Those who pass
this examination are granted a license to practice as Licensed
Vocational Nurses in Texas.
