Advisory Committee

The purpose of the Advisory Committee is to determine the goals and objectives that impact the program’s curriculum.

Establish skills standards for students
Revise program relative to current and future trends in the field
Advise on equipment selection and acquisition
Evaluate the adequacy of existing facilities and equipment
Identify resource persons within the business/industry community who will provide external learning experiences, student employment, and placement
Assist in the professional development of the faculty
Serve a public relations function in promoting and publicizing the program to the community and to business and industry
Represent the needs of special populations
