Panola ONE

The Panola ONE Delivery Option is offered to allow students to earn the Associate Degree in Nursing through a non-traditional format with online didactic classes and flexible clinical experiences. The clinicals will be scheduled evenings and weekends as agreed upon by the instructor and the clinical site. Clinical sites will be selected by the instructor of each course and will be within a 70 mile radius of Panola College. The weekends include Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and the evenings are considered the 3-11pm shift. This enables students to continue working while pursuing a degree. Because the Panola ONE Delivery Option requires students to be very self-directed and highly self-motivated, the admission criteria differ from those of conventional students.

The program begins accepting applications on February 1 with a deadline of the first business day in March of each year. Applicants will be notified of their status, in writing, within two months of the application deadline. The number of students admitted each year is limited by the resources of the College and by the requirements of the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas. These requirements exist to protect the public and ensure safe supervision of student nurses
