How do I log in?

My quiz isn't available or won't open.

How do I log in?

Email
Use your full campus email address. If you don't know your campus email address, find it in your CampusConnect account.

Password
Your default password is your six digit student ID number.
(Example: 123456)


My quiz isn't available or won't open.

Email your instructor within Canvas.


The dates in my Canvas course are all wrong.

Email your instructor within Canvas and notify them of the incorrect dates.


I have reached out to my instructor several times without a reply.

My course is not showing when I login to Canvas.

If you have just registered it will take a few hours for your course to appear on Canvas.  If you do not see your course after a few hours, contact the eLearning office.

 

I can't attach my assignment to email.

Make sure your browser is the latest version available. Firefox (latest version) is the preferred browser. IE is troublesome. If your attachment is a large email file, it might take a while to load.

 

I want to test at another testing center other than Panola College, what do I do?

You will need to ask your instructor for permission to test at a remote Panola College official testing center or at another college or university.

 

How do I submit a support ticket?

Make sure you are on the page where you are having the error, and click on the Orange Help link within Canvas.  It is located in the upper right-hand corner.

 

I can't see some of the images in my course.  Is it my browser?

If you are using a recommended browser and still can't see your images, submit a Canvas help ticket from the page with the error. (See previous question/answer.)

 

How do I reset my password?

In the upper right-hand corner of your Canvas page click the link "Profile". Then click the Edit Profile link.  Check the Change Password box, then you will be prompted to enter your new password.

 

How do I email my instructor privately?

Click the "Inbox" link to bring up your email.  In the To: box, click the silhouette and choose your instructor's name.  This will send the email to your instructor only.

 

Can the instructor give me extra time or extra Quiz attempts?

Your instructor may give you extra attempts. Refer to your syllabus for his or her policy. To ask your instructor, you have to send an email within Canvas.
