Matt Juengel update

Former Panola College Pony Matt Juengel continues hot bat at the Big 12 Conference.

Juengel hit two home runs and a run-scoring single to lead the Texas A&M Aggies in a 9-3 win over the University of Texas at the Big 12 Conference in Oklahoma City. On Sunday, in the Big 12 Championship game, Juengel singled up the middle, scoring a run to tie the game. In the bottom of the 10th, Brodie Greene's walk-off homer clinched the championship title for the Aggies, making them eligible for the College World Series.

The Aggies (39-19-1) went 3-0 in pool play. Top-seeded Texas (46-11) went 0-3 in the tournament after going 24-3 in regular-season league play.

Juengel, who played third base for the Panola Ponies, hit a single in the first inning, and two solo home runs in the third and fifth.
