A Message from Dr. Lillian Cook, Vice President of Instruction
As Vice President of Instruction, I serve as the Chief Academic
Officer for Panola College. My responsibilities include supervision
and evaluation of all academic, career and technical programs, continuing
education, computer services, library services, and the distance
education program.
I consider it an honor to serve as Vice President of Instruction
at Panola College. My office strives to ensure that Panola College
provides a quality education and service to every student.
Panola College has shaped its mission (purpose) around the needs
of the people within its service area since its inception. The administrative
processes of this institution are designed through its policies,
procedures, and day-to-day interactions with students and constituents
to provide excellence in education; to provide a wide range of educational
offerings including transfer programs which prepare students to
enter universities, one or two-year programs in career and technical
fields, developmental courses to remedy academic deficiencies, and
continuing education for individuals wishing to enrich their lives
and talents; and to help each student achieve his or her full potential
and to contribute to the further development of society.
The administrative processes of Panola College are designed and
implemented to make the mission of this institution a reality in
the lives of our students and constituents. The administration of
this institution exists first to serve students, and it is to this
end that our administrative processes are dedicated.
