Welcome to Panola College! As a college serving both commuter and residential students, Panola College provides the advantages of attending a major university on a small college campus. We have enjoyed steady growth during the past decade and now have an enrollment of approximately 2,700 students. We are large enough to offer a variety of academic, technical, and health sciences courses of studies but small enough not to lose sight of our commitment of being student centered. We pride ourselves on individual attention and smiling faces. Students attend Panola College because of our small class sizes, an exceptional education at an affordable price, and most of all because Panola College graduates succeed.
I invite you to visit our beautiful campus. Much has changed during the past decade. We have new student apartments. The M.P. Library was completely renovated and expanded almost doubling its size. The fall of 2015 will see the opening of the new Health and Natural Sciences Building. The Charles C. Matthews Foundation Student Center, housing the fitness center, student services, dining hall, college store, and Frances B. Ross Ballroom will also open this fall. Additionally, the Arthur Johnson Gymnasium has been completely renovated and expanded. You will be amazed at all of the wonderful progress happening on campus!
Browse through our web pages to learn more. Better yet, come for a visit. Work out in the fitness center. Tour the residence halls. Eat a delicious meal in the dining hall or Charlie’s Bistro. Watch an intercollegiate ball game or fine arts production. Tour an exhibit in the Allison Art Gallery. Our students and community genuinely like Panola College. Just ask them! I look forward to seeing you.
